I have a 2007 Volkswagen Jetta. I really, really like it, and here's why:

Yesterday, I was in rush hour traffic. The lane I was in started moving and I was going about 45mph. There was a VW Passat in front of me & a van in front of the Passat. Suddenly the van hit its brakes (but had NO brake lights!) The Passat came to a screeching halt, and then I slammed on my brakes as hard as I could & literally came to a complete stop just before I hit the car in front of me. I couldn't believe how well my brakes worked! Whenever I test drove my car, the salesman made me go 60mph, then he said, "Hit your brakes, NOW!" I thought for sure the car was going to flip over over fish tail, and it didn't. It just stopped. I was amazed!

I have the First Act edition Jetta. It literally came with a custom limited-edition First Act GarageMaster electric guitar that can be played through the car's audio system.

The interior focuses on safety and comfort with six airbags and five head restraints. I have to admit the seats are super comfortable, but I know they are very safe!

Another feature that I like about the 07 Jetta is that I have 3 different transmissions. I can drive normally in the automatic transmission, or choose Sport, which allows the RPMS to go up higher before shifting OR I can put it in 6 speed clutchless shifting, which is like driving a stick w/o the clutch. Its super fun! I like to use the sports suspension right before I pull out into traffic or if I'm alone on road somewhere & I feel like getting zippy!

Also, the Jetta has grocery hooks in the trunk. I LOVE THEM. So, when I go shopping, I hang the bags on there so the bags & food do not slide around in my trunk & then I don't have to rebag everything!

My car is also very fuel efficient which is important to my pocketbook and the environment. It gets 25/32mpg.

So, thats about it. I love my Jetta. Its super cute, iPod friendly, and I think a really smart car for the money!
